His enlistment credited to Bad Ax County. He mustered on December 10, 1861 at Madison, WI as a Private (Menig). Moller was assigned as wagoner at Bowling Green, KY on September 16, 1862. On December 18, 1862, he was listed as Division wagoner. He was sick in hospital at Stevenson, AL on September 9 and 15, 1863. He was also sick in Nashville, TN; Louisville, KY on December 1 and 18, 1863; and Jeffersonville, IN on April 30, 1864. Moller mustered out with Company E in Chattanooga, TN on December 20, 1864. After the war, he lived in New Richland, MN.
